It is truly a diamond in the rough and the best kept secret in the country. Big Canoe is awesome! A person can't find a community more friendly or outgoing with so many activities. The Villages in Florida is too hot, crowded and too expensive compared to Big Canoe (for example). You also can't find a developer more eager to please. Big Canoe is not perfect but sure is close. It's a very special place to live. WE are very fortunate to be able to do so. The food at the club for special events is not good. The food at the Black Bear is good but the menu needs to change.
